PROFESSIONAL WORK HISTORY:
Paula studied Psychology at the University of Queensland and then spent close to 18 years in the electricity distribution industry where she led a team specialising in escalations, advocacy and relationships.
Paula’s first experience with kinesiology was in 2004, when she was pleasantly surprised by how it worked in a non-invasive yet effective way. She has studied with Kinesiology Schools Australia (KSA), and is currently working on her final year of the ICPKP Diploma.
She has previously worked from a home-based kinesiology clinic, in addition to mobile kinesiology work.
Kinesiology can help people in an entirely different way as it combines Eastern philosophies with scientific knowledge of the human body, offering a holistic approach that facilitates genuine health and wellness improvements. Paula is passionate about helping people to:
Reduce: stress, insomnia, recurrent pain.
Increase: motivation, energy levels, mental focus.
Improve: mindset, women’s health, general health.
WHAT MAKES PAULA A GREAT KINESIOLOGIST?
“I have a passion for helping people and am here to help facilitate others to achieve the outcomes they seek. I will listen carefully, make notes and ask questions to ensure we are working together for the best possible result. I believe that every person is doing the best they can, with the knowledge they have.”
WHAT DOES PAULA ENJOY DOING OUTSIDE OF WORK?
Paula enjoys down time with her family – relaxing at home and in the garden, trying new recipes out and getting out into nature – usually hiking or bike riding. She practices Qi Gong, yoga and pilates regularly (or semi-regularly if she’s being honest) and always has a couple of books on the go.
“You find what you look for” – Unknown.
